It's part NPR-esque sonic documentary, part effusive print article brought to life by the rather elegant and erudite narrative by journalist Nancy McClean, whose voice you might recognize from the collections she did about Green Day, Garbage, Guns 'N Roses and Gwen Stefani. Well-researched, and annotated with band interviews. Only low point is the quasi-psychedelic background music, which strangely was not by Pink Floyd.
