With seven previously unreleased early cuts and four acid rock freakouts from their days as Cradle, this CD Baby compilation of material from Detroit's premier '60s all-girl teenage garage-rock crew may be the most important release the label has ever offered. Sandwiched between the group's two eras is their incredible ode to underage drinking, "What a Way to Die," in which 17-year-old Patti Quatro snarls about preferring beer to her boyfriend and 15-year-old Suzi Quatro plays bass. The best part is definitely when they rhyme "throws a fit" with "bottle of Schlitz."
