Poi Dog Pondering

Originally from Hawaii, Poi Dog Pondering have survived as many location changes as personnel shifts since they left their Hawaiian home in the early '90s. A trio at its constant core, they were originally a life-embracing, World music-tinged Folk-Rock band. They have since adopted -- and mostly discarded -- electronica for a richer, lushly orchestral acoustic pop sound. Led by the dynamic Frank Orrall, Poi Dog are definitely worth your time and attention.
