Radar Brothers

Radar Bros. is the project of Jim Putnam (ex-Medicine, Maids of Gravity) which veers away from the former's noisy soundscapes and ends up more like a stripped-down version of the latter's psychedelic pop. Radar Bros.' winsome, windswept, countrified pop bounces up and down the California coastline with sun bleached harmonies and fading piano keys. Tracks suck you into a free-floating, wistful world filled with hazy, poetic imagery; invoking a sense of fragile eloquence with rhythms so sparse, they border on desolate. The water that's being piped into Los Angeles, allowing bands such as the Radar Bros. and Acetone to grow, needs worldwide distribution.
