Believe it or not, Sub Pop's Rein Sanction came from Florida, not Seattle. Playing Grunge-by-numbers rock with wailing guitars undercut by a strong riptide of depressing lyrics, they convincingly demonstrated that Seattle is more than just a city -- it's a state of mind.
