The Reverend Horton Heat calls this his "side project that sounds like a main project." The Reverend Organdrum is a (mostly) instrumental Dallas trio combining the Rev's vintage guitar tones with a grinding Hammond organ and jazzy drums to specialize in the kind of 1960s spy film music (yes, the "James Bond Theme" is covered here) and bygone cocktail grooves that the Dean Martin set used to slug martinis to. "Bim Bam Baby" has the Rev singing smoother than his usual heated psychobilly rave-ups, but straight-banged girls with hot-rod tattoos are sure to still dig this direction.
