Richard Devine

Part of the post-Autechre movement spearheaded by Schematic Records, Richard Devine drops some of the most tweaked, messed-up Techno yet. Without a groove to move you or a melody to hum, his tracks move in willful fits of rhythms that teeter on the edge of collapse as melodies crackle like the giggles of a baby cyborg or an ice cream truck's chimes after a head-on collision with a metro train. His tracks are simultaneously beautiful and peculiar.
