On this 1995 album, Richard H. Kirk (Cabaret Voltaire, Sandoz, Sweet Exorcist) continues working in the vein of the previous year's Virtual State, swirling sampled loops and synthesizer lines into fuzzy patterns. Here, though, he ups the tempo again, finding rhythmic inspiration in jungle's breakbeat science and even dusting off his 303 for a little quasi-acid house action. It's queasy listening with a deep funk counterbalance.
