Riders In The Sky

Riders In the Sky have been paying tribute (in their own tongue-in-cheek manner) to singing cowboys since 1977. By approximating the old-timey cowpoke sounds of Gene Autry and Roy Rogers, the band has gained a large following of Traditional Country enthusiasts, as well as folks who enjoy the Riders' novel approach to Americana. Here we find Ranger Doug and his dudes celebrating the holidays the country way with their ranch-swing roster of standard country songs, Southern-fried Christmas carols and trademark folkie Gospel.
