Biography

In his decade-long career as a solo artist, guitar virtuoso Rik Emmett has continued his smiling, optimistic ways while further toning down the already tame rock 'n' roll impulses he exhibited with his former band, the popular (in Canada) Triumph. Adult Contemporary love ballads and airbrushed, harmony-laden sitcom rockers occupy the bulk of his discography, with showy guitar displays kept to a surprising minimum.
