Roc C isn't a great emcee. His flows sound stiff, and the few times he does switch his tempo up (as on his double-time rap for "Dirty Dirty"), it sounds forced. His lyrics aren't exactly poetic; there is the usual mix of trite braggadocio, tired regionalism and assaulting insults. There is, however, an urgency in his distinctive growl and a raw energy that seethes through his rather primitive approach. It's not quite enough to sustain an entire album, but it does offer some nice songs, such as the wriggling "Let's Battle" and the eerie "Running over Cowards."
