Nightingale Floors (Deluxe Version)

Nightingale Floors (Deluxe Version) by Rogue Wave
Released: Jun 2013
Label: VAGRANT
Zack Rogue's not-particularly-deep psychedelia has never been short of friendly and comfortable, even when he briefly tried to rock out for 2005's Sub Pop-pushed "Publish My Love." But a dreamy tune like "S(a)tan" makes more sense on Vagrant, the home of MonstrO and The 1975, than it would have on a grunge label. Nightingale Floors is the most relaxed Rogue Wave record yet -- this band is comfortable in its own skin. Tunes like "College" and "Figured It Out" have more room to breathe than any of Rogue's previous, and they don't lose momentum in the melodicism either.
