Whereabouts by Ron Sexsmith
Released: May 1999
Label:
Ron Sexsmith's third album further displays the singer-songwriter's gift for delicate melodies, crafty lyrical observations and heart-on-sleeve ruminations on the world around him. With a bit more beefed-up instrumentation, things here sound a bit more produced than on his previous pair of albums, though clear, emotionally expressive verses on quieter numbers like "The Idiot Boy" and ""Riverbed" make up the best stuff on the record.
