Rookie Of The Year

Rookie of the Year began in 2002 as singer Ryan Dunson's solo acoustic project. After self-releasing the album Having to Let Go, Dunson was quickly signed to One Eleven Records and recruited four band members to back his act on tour. With a new band to work with, the indie label created new album art and re-issued Dunson's self-release as Rookie of the Year's debut, The Goodnight Moon, an emo-acoustic album reminiscent of Dashboard Confessional.
