Roscoe Dash

Biography

Jeffrey "Roscoe Dash" Johnson is another hitmaker to emerge from Atlanta's street-pop factory. With a melodic voice rivaling that of T-Pain and a knack for bubblegum hooks worthy of Soulja Boy Tell 'Em, the teenage rapper, songwriter and vocalist has made an impact quickly. Whether that impact will be brief or substantial largely depends on his debut, Ready, Set, Go! However, the teenage upstart has established himself with a handful of rap hits, including "All the Way Turnt Up," "Show Out" and "My Own Step" (which was the theme to the 2010 dance movie Step Up 3D). Late in 2010, Roscoe landed his first Top 40 hit, albeit via a guest spot on Waka Flocka Flame's "No Hands."
