On her second record, Israeli expat songwriter Rosi Golan builds her likeable indie folk around clever wordplay that hints at the smart writing of Aimee Mann. Her voice is pretty, breathy and unadorned, delivering a set that feels immediately familiar. The lyric's metaphors -- paper tigers, candles that burn at both ends and lead balloons -- can be a bit thick, but the result is usually charming. A favorite is "I Like You"; it's every bit as unpretentious as the title might suggest.
