A world-famous boxing champion (who won a belt in three different weight classes), Roy Jones, Jr. used to be referred to as the best "pound-for-pound" fighter in the game. Like many superstar athletes, Jones is also a big rap fan and in 2002, at the peak of his glory, he released a solo LP called Round One: The Album. However, like many of his sports star peers (see: Shaq, Kobe, A.I.), his efforts in the booth failed to generate much props or sales. Undaunted, he assembled a team of Dirty South emcees to help him out for a second album, Body Head Bangerz Vol. 1, which was released in the fall of 2004.
