Ryan Meyers

Like many artists with music only available on cdbaby.com, Ryan Meyers flies a bit below the radar. But you don't need some fancy schmancy manager or recording label to make folk music this intimate and spiritual. After touring the south with an old crooner named Doc Harbison under the "Elusive Dudes" moniker, something life-altering happened to Meyers. He found Jesus. Following a "Yahweh or the highway" musical discipline, he chose to devote his music to his faith, and Meyers now plays loving, spiritual folk music for his Mississippi church parish. At times his stylish, acoustic arpeggios and buttery vocals often bring to mind a young James Taylor.
