Salaryman

About Salaryman

Formed after serving as an impromptu backing band for Jenny Toomey (Tsunami), these current members of energetic popsters Poster Children, decided to venture into less restrictive territory under the moniker Salaryman. Their '97 self-titled debut release had them mixing up the digital and analog recording processes with samplers and mostly organic elements, not to mention a whole slew of television snippets. Their newest release entitled Karoshi has them dabbling more on the electronic side of things, dipping their toes into the areas covered on Trans Am's Future World record. A completely interesting diversion with obvious roots in pop music formulas.
