If you happen to dig warm old country rock like Buffalo Springfield, the Flying Burrito Bros and Crosby, Stills, Nash and Young, you'll fall in love with this album. Sand were a Portland band with the most talented pedal steel player of the 20th century and vocal harmonies tighter than Emmylou Harris' blue jeans on the cover of Elite Hotel. Listening to the watery "Who Ya Tryin' to Fool" will make you want to quit work and head down the coast in a VW bus with a couple of longboards tied to the roof. "Lady Of Mine" is a country funk nugget and perhaps the best "Lady" titled song of the 1970s.
