You'll never hear Sandra Boynton exercise her pipes on her third release, but you will hear Sha Na Na, Brian Wilson (!) and B.B. King (!!) getting kiddy wid it. For the most part, this is an exercise in '50s/early-'60s nostalgia -- bobby sox and bubblegum, with animals. Lots of animals. Wilson sings about a fast-moving turtle, Davy Jones claims he wants to be "Your Personal Penguin" and the Sinatra sound-alike Steve Lawrence croons about you-know-who on "Blue Moo." Sometimes deeply endearing, sometimes a little strange ("Rabbit Tango"? really?), Boynton is mercifully never boring.
