Fast, fancy, meaty, majestic and sporting the same lineup they debuted with in 1983, these NWOBHM seniors fill the first Satan album in 26 years with all the chugging breakdowns they've saved up since. Brian Ross subjects his moral compass to grown-man singing pipes, employing operatic shrieks sparingly beyond the Uriah Heep cackles complementing "Twenty Twenty Five"'s judgment day Zager & Evans allusions. Elsewhere, angels cry hooky tears of blood, "Personal Demon" gets a Slade-glam chorus, heroes endure life and death sentences and "Goldfinger" guitars propel an intergalactic closing ballad.
