Released:
Label: Universal
The second album from New Zealand rapper Savage combines the dancefloor synths and house beats of Timbaland's "The Way I Are" with Demetrius Savelio's own throaty, rugged style. Other names the album brings to mind are Notorious B.I.G. and Tupac; that combination shows that Savelio may be a world away from the U.S., but at least he's been listening to good records. A remix of "Swing," which appeared in the Seth Rogan movie Knocked Up, features a cameo from Soulja Boy Tell 'Em and is the hit, but don't miss "Not Many."
