With Scott Herren's Savath + Savalas project having turned into a trio, it only figures that the artist otherwise known as Prefuse 73 would want to find a little more alone time in the studio, away from prying collaborators. The Predicate (Dub Version) goes at S&S's La Llama like a sheet of neon sandpaper, stripping and smearing the group's acoustic guitars and whispered folk into a dreamy array of tambourine-flecked psychedelic jams, dripping with dub delay.
