Scott MacDonald

Scott MacDonald seems to adore British indie music. He says things like "motor car" even though he's from WA. His music is chock-full of warm guitar distortion and soaring harmonies (Imagine if Mark Gardner and Andy Bell were still friends). MacDonald's study of U.K. music seeps into his own cathartic songs without directly emulating any of his influences. In this way, his take on this particular genre of music is much more interesting than American suburban bands who affect an accent and wear matching Clarks footwear.
