Sean Kingston's breathless, hormone-charged debut hits the ground running and doesn't let up. So hold onto your hats: This 17-year-old kid might actually have the chops to match the hype. How can we tell? There's hardly an inch of filler on the disc. Kingston does an effortless electric slide through pop, dancehall, R 'n' B and rap -- nodding to jazz and soul in the process -- and makes it all sound improbably catchy and fresh and yes, even innocently horny. He's cleaner than Sean Paul and a little rougher than Rihanna, but Kingston's spark outshines the pop packaging.
