The sounds here are as refreshing as the cool shade offered by the pastel umbrellas on the album's groovy cover. This is where Mendes added swank pop vocals to his Bossa Nova sound to create a huge seller, and a chart-topping single with "The Look of Love." Once dismissed as the kind of album Mrs. Robinson would love, it's now considered great for the very same reason.
