Barbara Manning's mid-1990s outfit which managed to pay tribute to both baseball and obscure rock classics. Unsurprisingly, Manning's songwriting was excellent during her tenure with the Seals, encompassing smart, jangling pop and starry-eyed romance and disillusion.
