A Brooklyn emcee with a talent for intelligent, sophisticated rhymes, Shabazz the Disciple has amassed a loyal underground following through various appearances with assorted crews. He's worked extensively with Wu affiliates Gravediggaz and Sunz of Man. He's also released several coveted singles, and he is a member of Celestial Souljahz (along with Freestyle of the Arsonists). Like Killah Priest, Shabazz's lyrical style blends spiritual knowledge with street realities, all backed by cinematic East Coast beats. He also runs his own label, God's Work.
