Ouch. After re-energizing her career with the excellent I Am…, Shelby Lynne got a glossed up "star" makeover and released this slick LP (though none of its tracks are as suspect as the placement of the mirror on the cover). The moody "Tarpolean Napoleon" is a strong ballad, and "Killin' Kind" was a decent single, but this LP ended up derailing her re-railed career."
