Florida's Shinedown take the big ballad from 2003's Leave A Whisper and strip it down to an acoustic guitar and vocalist Brent Smith. Heavy post-production marked the original, but here the raw approach works in their favor, giving Smith a chance to belt out the tune with classic rock bravado.
