With "Heroes," Shinedown come extremely close to recording the best new song of the 2000s: it has a totally awesome guitar riff, the singer sounds like he has a long hair and could kick someone's ass, and the lyrics are about dead people. The rest of the album is good, too. Shinedown are becoming an interesting entry into the mainstream.
