Released: Oct 2006
Label: Rock Ridge Music
Sister Hazel's seventh studio release stays true to the band's roots in slick, southern-touched pop, even if the huge hooks and sing-along choruses on tunes like "Mandolin Moon" and "Beautiful High" might have more in common with new country belters like Jack Ingram than adult contemporary playboys like Rob Thomas. When they turn up the guitars and get a bit more aggressive, with hard-hitting numbers like "Hello, It's Me" or "Anyway," singers Ken Block and Andrew Copeland really strut their stuff, delivering hi-gloss pop with convincing vigor.
