David Biegel, one-half of Ubiquity recording acts Bugs and Puracane, showcases his alter-ego on this Electro-infected Acid Jazz project. An acclaimed producer/remixer/bass player who has graced the line-ups of a variety of bands including Dub and hip-hop production outfits, Beigel is a tremendous force within the downtempo realm. Aside from reworking tracks from such eclectic artists as Terra Deva, Hooverphonic, Carly Simon, Bis, Crystal Gayle and 80 Mile Beach among others, Biegel maintains his free-thinking musical persona by combining addictive bits of Dub, IDM, jazz, Techno and Trip-Hop into each breakbeat-ridden groove assigned to Skyjuice. Complex arrangements feature heady atmospheric effects based in Ambient and Techno traditions. Expect a sophisticated take on Funk.
