About Sleep ∞ Over

As Sleep Over, Austin's Stefanie Franciotti records ethereal electronic pop and narcotic drones. As you might guess from the infinity symbol, she came up amid the witch-house/chillwave scene. She's signed to Hippos in Tanks, home to the likeminded Laurel Halo and Games (aka Ford & Lopatin). Distant and dreamy, her music often sounds like a chopped-and-screwed homage to the Cocteau Twins. The project began as a trio, but Franciotti went solo just prior to recording her debut album in 2010.
