Slightly Not Stoned Enough To Eat Breakfast Yet Stoopid (Exclusive)

Slightly Not Stoned Enough To Eat Breakfast Yet Stoopid by Slightly Stoopid
Released: May 2006
Label: Stoopid Records
Pavement's "Two States" cried for the division of northern and southern California. "Nor-cal" music tends to be more artful and indie while "So-cal" music aims for the big bucks of commercial radio. This seven-song EP falls into the latter. The acoustic funk, Caucasian rap 'n' reggae cocktail begs to be heard by young men with architecturally sculpted facial hair and Black Flys sunglasses. Their cover of "I Know You Rider" is a surprisingly delightful, '70s-inspired, country rock anomaly that's reminiscent of Poco.
