Not just a relic from the Summer of Love, the Small Faces' Ogden's Nut Gone Flake was one of the very first rock concept albums, standing alongside the Beatles' Sgt. Pepper's and The Who's Who Sell Out. Centered around the spacey single "Itchycoo Park," this disc was one of the foundations of psychedelic rock, with its woozy organ fills, shimmering guitars, clever druggy lyrics and muscular playing, all of which work with the loopy fairy tale about a young man who befriends a fly and goes in search of the lost half of the moon.
