Though they may have the worst indie rock phrase-moniker since Austin, Texas' This Baby Is a Suicide Bomber, Someone Still Loves You Boris Yeltsin deserve major props for cranking out some Splenda-sweet guitar pop gems. The singer's wispy inflections are so nasal you may find yourself longing to enjoy some grapes and cheese with his whine, but if you dig the boyish inflections of singers in bands like the Shins, Rogue Wave and Built to Spill, you'll find a sweet familiarity in these catchy and clever songs as well.
