The sequel to Soul Sonic Force's highly influential "Zulu Nation Throwdown" single is looser and funkier than most old-school electro funk. MC Globe, Mr. Biggs and Pow Wow's sing-song flows and the promises to "rock and shock and funk it up" linger beautifully above Bambaataa's droopy keys and syncopated handclaps. The background "ho"s, grunts and "ah, yeah"s propel the track forward and reinforce the jovial, day-in-the-park vibe.
