Biography

A side project of the acclaimed Acid Jazz outfit Galliano, Soundscape UK are known for their radio-friendly fusion of Smooth and Acid Jazz. Keyboardist Mick Talbot, a former member of eclectic New Wave band the Style Council, is united with Chris Bands, a percussionist who boasts early recordings on Eddie Piller's Acid Jazz label and Gilles Peter's Talkin' Loud imprint. Their mild jazz tunes (injected with a minimal amount of funk) emphasize the sax and guitars.
