The Spice Girls' second album is just so...disappointing. Not because it's not good. On the contrary, it's even better than you remember. Three of their phenomenally successful singles ("Spice Up Your Life," "Stop" and "Too Much") start things off with a bang, but everything else is just as good, from the disco fever of "Never Give Up" to the Sesame Street-wholesome funk of "Do It" to jazzy girl-power-a-thon "The Lady Is a Vamp." And please, do not miss "Move Over." No, what's disappointing is that the world the Spice Girls promised quickly fell apart after this pop masterpiece.
