Stacy Dean Campbell

Campbell might record in Nashville for the country music division of a major record label, but he has more in common with classic singer-songwriters from the 1970s such as Jackson Browne or Jesse Winchester. He writes or co-writes a good portion of his own material, which right off the bat separates him from many of his country music brethren. Sonically, his production style is much more low-key than the Nashville norm; acoustic guitar, dobro, and Campbell's smooth baritone vocals are at the forefront of the mix.
