The single was "Music Sounds Better With You," the year was 1998, and if you weren't dancing to this anthem during that summer you must have spent your days and nights in a catatonic state. Stardust is a one-off product from the imagination of Thomas Bangalter, the Frenchman widely known as one-half of Daft Punk and owner of the respectable label Roule. A Disco-rooted, hopelessly catchy groove that was the feel-good tune of an insanely long moment proved highly influential to numerous dance music producers.
