Starflyer 59's abrasive dream pop/noise rock is some the most compelling music coming out of today's Alternative Christian Contemporary scene. The trudging tempos of early '90s shoegazer are infused with a massive amount of distortion and caterwauling feedback, while positive Christian messages are delivered with even-handed non-preachiness.
