Biography

Some folks say that Wilbur Rimes (LeAnn's daddy and producer) discovered Steve Holy, but it was actually winning a grassroots talent show in his hometown of Dallas that earned Holy his following. In addition to strains of Trace Adkins, there's an undercurrent of Urban Cowboy in Holy's songs, suggesting he may have listened to Mel McDaniel's hit "Baby's Got Her Blue Jeans On" more than once while "playing" the tennis racket in his bedroom mirror as a young bumpkin.
