Steve Jablonsky

Steve Jablonsky is a prolific composer of film, television and video-game soundtracks. Born in 1970, he works in the studio of soundtrack composer Hans Zimmer; like his mentor, Jablonsky's music often combines sweeping, cinematic strings with extensive electronic elements. But Jablonsky's style is as diverse as his discography, which runs from BBC documentaries to the soundtrack to the video game The Sims 3. He has scored the entire Transformers franchise, and he frequently scores horror remakes: his resume includes 2003's The Texas Chainsaw Massacre, 2005's Amityville Horror and 2009's Friday the 13th. His television credits include many Desperate Housewives episodes.
