Classic-rock legend Steve Winwood has jammed with myriad artists and bands through the years, many of which are represented on Revolutions, a sweeping four-disc box set. It's pretty amazing Winwood's longtime label, Island Records, was able to bring all this music together: the British Invasion years with The Spencer Davis Group, the mighty Traffic, the terribly short-lived Blind Faith and, of course, his adult-contemporary solo output. Just one quibble: Why not a track or two from Ginger Baker's Air Force? That was one of the early 1970s' killer outfits, and Winwood was a key component.
