The story of Straight No Chaser -- an a cappella vocal group from Indiana University whose madcap YouTube version of "12 Days of Christmas" earned them a major record deal -- seems as unlikely as the success of their holiday record seems imminent. The stocking is stuffed with snappy, silk-smooth holiday pop standards, and, even if the "12 Days" gag gets a bit tired on repeated listens, the thickly harmonized Beach Boys cover of "Little Saint Nick" is right on the money. Rockapella is so bummed they didn't think of this first.
