This late 2008 slab by these long-running and occasionally boogie-brawny rap-metallers was given 0 points of out 10 in the metal mag Decibel, but that amusing score doesn't do it justice. As mook-metal goes, the soppy Everlast-wannabe autobiography ("15 Minutes of Fame") and clunky Chuck D-wannabe rapping ("Superstar Part 2") and especially the Kid Rock-wannabe hickity-hoppity John Denver cover ("Country Road") are hard to totally hate. Rich Ward -- once dubbed "the only real guitar hero the wretched genre has produced" by critic George Smith -- gets in a good power riff or two, too.
