Biography

Exploding on the competitive Trinidad carnival scene in 1980 with "Soca Baptist," Super Blue is the vanguard of a new generation of Soca artists whose hard-hitting "jab and whine" style incorporates hip-hop and Dancehall in fast, potent dance music. Winner of the Road March award several times in the '80s and again in the '90s, his popularity is massive.
